A Game By It’s Cover, where artists designed the Famicom game cover, then indie game developers made a game from that image. Some amazing results.
I’ve already played Debate Champion (http://www.argumentchampion.com/) though I did not realise it was made for this competition. It has a simple but clever concept that does not rely on the usual dialogue trees in order to win arguments. I’d recommend having a go!
Sticking in my mind as games I want to try out from this collection are the trapper game with the dog in the snow (Matagi), the Meteor Night games about taking pictures, and the game with the number pad and crazy visuals (FAM-PHONE).
